Creating the Turbine Hall

Once I had the block out done for scene, I could now start to model and texture this and start bringing it all together. From the texture tests, I knew my texture sizes were 256x256 or 512x512 and i was making the scene modular. This would keep the scene easy to run.

I started off by creating my basic modular assets inside of Maya. I UV mapped all the models and exported the maps into Photoshop and here i textured the models.

Once i had done this, i then exported all the models into Unreal Engine 4 and I started to piece the scene together. As this is a simulation for training purposes, i didn't want to make it to over-ally complex. I just wanted to give it that believably factor that it was a Nuclear Turbine Hall.

Once i had the scene set up and how i wanted it to look, i then started to tweak the lighting inside of the unreal engine to give it a bright look so it would be easy to walk around.
